We’ve Been Visiting Hotels for 20+ years
We are not new to hotels, we have slept in highway motels to 5-star luxery hotels and resorts, we know where we are talking about and know that sometimes a highway motel outperforms a 5 stay hotel when it comes down on how comfortable the beds are. Of course this is not the only part of a hotel room which is important, but a good night rest starts with a good bed.

Why do you review the bed?
The bed is the most important aspect to a hotel room, in fact, for most of us this is the reason to stay in a hotel instead of staying home in our own beds. To rest ! and have a good sleep to continue our travels the next days or to simply enjoy a few days of holidays to get ‘rested’ from our busy days. If that bed is bad, it’s not a hotel room, its a room for rent.
But doesn't everyone like a different type of bed?
Sure there are preferences, a hard bed is not always bad, and a soft bed can be too soft. Nobody is alike but if you know the beds are hard as concrete, and you love soft, would you still book the hotel ? And if you ask, can the hotel do something to make your stay more comfortable or do they just say, the bed is as it is. This is information we like to see in a review, not just if the staff is nice or not, while not unimportant we miss the ‘details’ of the bed in every single review site we saw online.
Do you prefer BBQ or Tepan Yaki ?
Glad you ask, we are not vegans and love our meat, but we would not enjoy either one if the meat was of a bad quality. And we believe the same about hotel beds.
